Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, at a press conference in Patna on Wednesday said his party was prepared for a general election but this time he would not align himself with either Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) or the NDA in Bihar.

"Nitish rule in Bihar is no different from the Lalu-Rabri regime. There is no law and order in the state and the government has proven itself incompetent when it comes to providing lands for industries," Paswan said.

The LJP leader said his party would kick-off an anti-Nitish government rally at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on November 28 during which call will be given for a change in the government in the state.

Later, Paswan attended an Iftar party thrown by legislator Dr. Izhar Ahmad.
