Gavai and noted film-maker Prakash Jha talking about the role of Indian films in bringing people from different states together while carving out its own niche in the world of entertainment.

Both Gavai and Jha, at the concluding event held at the Sri Krishna Memorial Hall, emphasized the need for such events in different states and appealed to the people to make them successful by showing their support and enthusiasm with an eye on promoting harmony and regional goodwill.

N. Das.

Sharan, however, lamented the growing vulgarity in many Bhojpuri films saying cheapness and raunchy subjects as well as their titillating titles made it very difficult for decent people to go see the movies with family members.
