College Girl Commits Suicide

 18-year old Nitika, a student of Patna Women's College, at her parent's apartment in North Sri Krishna Puri area on Sunday hung herself from the ceiling ending her life after allegedly performing poorly in the ongoing BA exams, the police in Patna said.
The tragedy occurred in the flat number E-5 of the Vasudevan Apartment located on Shivaji Path in Sri Krishna Puri.
As reported, Nikita, the youngest among four sisters and the daughter of Harendra Bihari Sahay, an account manager at a local English daily, hung herself from the ceiling fan ending her life.
Sahay said he left for Ranchi on April 16 while making arrangements for Nikita to temporary live with her married sister who lives not too far away from his own home. When he returned from Ranchi on Sunday evening, he found the door of his apartment wide open. Once inside, he discovered the body of his daughter hanging from the ceiling fan.
She was rushed to a private hospital where the doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Her body was sent for an autopsy as the police investigate the case from various angles.
The other three daughters of Sahay are married and live with their spouses.
