On the occasion, several prominent members of the Kayastha Mahasabha were honored including Justice Prem Shankar Sahay, Dr. Sachchidanand, Girijanand Sinha (a direct descent of Raja Todarmal), Rajesh Narayan Sinha, noted Kathak danseuse and Padmashree recipient Shobhna Narayan, former DGP R.
