Government to Address Veterinarians' Demands

Photo by Shashi UttamRamnarayan Mandal, the Animal Husbandry and Fishery Minister, while addressing at the 5th Animal Health Day at the Vidyapati Bhawan in Patna on Sunday, said he was studying on the problems related with his department and was preparing to address the demands of the veterinary doctors in the state.

"I am aware of the problems of the doctors and steps would be taken soon to deal with them," Mandal Singh.

Health Minister Nand Kishore Yadav, in his speech, enunciated the need to develop agriculture, fishery, and dairy sectors for any advancement in the state.

"Without a strong agriculture base where dairy and fishery play a prominent role, the state cannot think of developing economically," Yadav, who was recently moved from the Road Construction Department to the Health department, said.

The meet was jointly organized by the Patna Animal Development and Dr. B. K. A. D Trust.
