Patna Women's College Celebrates Foundation Day

Students and teachers of Patna Women's College on Wednesday celebrated the college's Foundation Day to mark the birth anniversary of its founder Bishop B. J. Sullivan by organizing cultural programs and addresses by prominent college officials.
Dr. Doris DeSouza, the Principal of Patna Women's College, in her inaugural speech, thanked the guests and highlighted the achievements of the college during its 68 years of glorious history.
Chief guest and Archbishop William DeSouza praised the role Patna Women's College has played over the years producing fine women who have gone to make their names in the world in various arenas.
The Archbishop also exhorted the students to get involved in local activities to build a new Bihar where women play a much larger role in running the state.
