Sena Unleashes Brutality against Bihari Passengers

Patna: February 25, 2008

Biharis in Maharashtra continued to be brutalized by the Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena goons when they attacked the passengers of the Kurla-Rajendra Nagar Lokmanya Tilak Express on Monday by beating them up and snatching away their personal belongings including cash and their train tickets.

As reported, Sena-supported criminals got in the general bogie of the train between Kalyan and Kasara and engaged in beating up passengers returning to Bihar while stealing their valuables. When the harrowed passengers tried to file a police report at Nasik, the railway police refused to register their cases.

The perpetrators did not spare the women and children as well and snatched their chains and bracelets while verbally abusing the passengers and ordering them to leave Maharashtra and never come back again, the victims told the reporters after they arrived at Patna Junction on Monday.

The police in Patna recorded the victims' statements and sent its report to the Kalyan Railway Police for actions against the criminals.
