Coolies in Patna on Wednesday gave a warm welcome to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav upon his arrival from Delhi at Patna Airport following the Railway Minister's announcement of giving them the status of 4th grade Railways employees.
Playing with colored powder and blowing trumpets, the coolies danced outside the airport while offering flowers to Yadav.
An elated Railway Minister then invited the coolies to his residence to play Holi with him.
Later, at a press conference at his home, Yadav said the new Railway Budget was 'nothing short of historical' and it had left the political opponents shell-shocked.
"The so-called India Shining section of the political system is taken aback by the railway budget and have begun sulking by its mass popularity," he said.
Yadav also offered some advice to Bihar Chief Minister and former Railway Minister Nitish Kumar saying he needs to first read the budget in its entirety before passing judgment on it.
