"There were a handful of incidents against Biharis but not as much as the mainstream media has reported it to be," the actor said adding Biharis should learn to speak at least some Marathi if they have chosen Maharashtra as their home away from home.

Ravi Kishan said situation was very much in control in Maharashtra and Biharis had no reason to leave the state that they had chosen as their land of profession.

Later the actor, along with other caste members and makers of the film, participated in the premier of the film at the local Veena cinema hall.
