The Sikh community in Patna on Saturday took out religious processions from Chitkohra and Frazer Road Gurudwaras to mark the birth anniversary of the Sikh's 10th guru Govind Singh amidst chants from the Sikh religious book Gurugranth Sahib.
With the reading of religious hymns starting early Saturday morning, all the Gurudwaras, decked beautifully to reflect the occasion, witnessed large turnover of devotees who came in large numbers to attend the proceedings.
The Guru's birth anniversary would be formally celebrated at an event on Sunday at the Frazer Road Gurudwara while a similar event will be held at Chitkohra Gurudwara on Monday.
