Bihar Art and Culture Minister Janardan Singh Sigriwal at the Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir in Patna on Monday, a day prior to their departure to Chennai to participate in the 13th National Youth Festival, offered last minute advise to the participants asking them to make Bihar proud and not do anything that may sully the image of the state.

Sigriwal, while talking to the participants and officials accompanying them, said Biharis had immense talent and despite some snafus during the rehearsal stage, he had confidence in them and wished them good luck during the entire trip to Chennai.

Special instructions were given to all the participants to maintain promptness and punctuality at all the times or risk losing points to contestants from other states. "We will be watching you all from Patna so please do not do anything that would embarrass the whole state," said the Minister.

Last year Patna had hosted the Youth Festival attracting more than 4,000 young men and women from all states and Union Territories.
