Shivanand Tiwari in Good Condition

Patna: January 12, 2008

Janata Dal – U national spokesperson Shivanand Tiwari, who was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology in Patna last Friday after complaining of chest pain, was said to be in good condition and recovering fast at the Emergency Ward of the hospital.

Institute director Dr. S. N. Mishra said Tiwari who had been suffering from bronchitis was not in any sort of danger and was making remarkable progress after being brought to the hospital. The doctors, however, expect him to remain in the hospital at least till Monday, he said.

Meanwhile, a number of party leaders paid a visit to the hospital and met with Tiwari who appeared to be fine though a little exhausted, said a JD-U leader.
