Birth Anniversary of Bindeshwari Dubey Celebrated

Leaders in Bihar on Monday paid rich tributes to the former Chief Minister of Bihar Late Bindeshwari Dubey to mark his birth anniversary at a state-sponsored function organized at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall.
Among those who put garlands on the picture of Dubey included Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, a Governor's representative, former Chief Minister and Janata Dal – U leader Jagannath Mishra, Water Resources Minister Ramashraya Prasad Singh, legislators Sanjay Singh, Aslam Azaad, and R. L. Kanaujia.
In a separate celebration, Congress leaders held a similar event at the party headquarters at Sadaqat Ashram in Patna presided over party state president Sadanand Singh who said Dubey was a friend of the labor class and his contributions towards the betterment of the workers class could not be over-emphasized.
Born in 1921, Bindeshwari Dubey was the Chief Minister of Bihar between March 25, 1985 and February 14, 1988.
He died in 1993.
