Bihar Governor R. S. Gavai and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday attended the 'Prakash Mahotsav' organized by the Patna Saheb Gurudwara to mark the 341st birth anniversary of Sikh's 10th saint, Guru Govind Singh.

Kumar said that the annual event should be made a state-sponsored event on the line of Buddha Mahotsava, Rajgir Mahotsava, and Vaishali Mahotsava in Bihar.

"The government would extend its cooperation in any way to make this event more popular that would cross the religious line allowing everyone to take part in it," the Chief Minister said.

Nand Kishore Yadav, the Tourism and Road Construction Minister, also talked about developing a 'Sikh Circuit' on the pattern of Buddha and Jain circuit in the state that draws hundreds of thousands of devotees each year from across the globe.
