Arya, on Thursday, flagged off the 'Sanskriti Jagaran Rath' for the weeklong discourse on Srimadbhagwat Gita by Saddhwi Ritambhara to be held between February 22 and 28 at the bank of Ganga near the Chitragupta Temple in Diwan Mohalla in Patna City.

The Rath, after covering Ara, Dumraon, Buxar, Ballia, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Begusarai, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger, and Lakhisarai, would return to Patna on February 15.

The event has been organized by the Param Shaktipeeth, Bihar, to promote cultural awareness among the Hindus, particularly the youths who seem to be getting too involved in today's materialism and separating themselves from the core belief of Hinduism, organizers said.

Among those who were present at the flag-off ceremony included former Bihar DGP R. R. Prasad, legislator Ganga Prasad, and a number of prominent businessmen and government officials.
