Outstanding Rotarian Award to Dr. Tejaswi

At a program organized at the Hotel Chanakya in Patna on Wednesday, noted physician and Medical Director, RATNEI, International Health Organization Dr. Diwakar Tejaswi was given the "Outstanding Rotarian of the Year Award" for his activities in health and community areas.

Dr. Tejaswi was also awarded the "AIDS Jagriti Award 2007-08" and "Swasthya Doot Award 2007-08" by the Rotary District Governor Dr. L. B. Singh for his extraordinary work in AIDS awareness and for organizing free health checkup camps in Bihar.

The Rotary Pataliputra also nominated Dr. Tejaswi as the District Chairman, Rotary AIDS Awareness Program, for the year 2007-08.

Several Rotarians including the President of Rotary Patalipura, Dr. Shankarnath, former President Mr. Anil Saraf, Sunita Saraf, Mr. Anand Dwivedi, and Dr. Himanshu Roy were present on the occasion.
