Electronic Shop Broken into; Laptops; Mobiles Stolen

Patna: March 16, 2008

Burglars in Boring Road in Patna on early Sunday morning broke into an electronic shop Planet Emporium and made do with laptops and cell phones valued at roughly Rs. 12 lakh, Sri Krishnapuri police station in-charge Anuj Prasad said.

According to the reports, the crooks busted open the metal shutter of the shop and stole four laptops and nearly Rs. 300 cell phones before escaping in the cover of the darkness.

Jitendra Kumar Suman, the owner of the shop, discovered the theft when he arrived at the store on Sunday morning only to find the door wide open and all expensive items missing.

Sachivalaya DSP Sridhar Mandal investigated the crime scene and collected evidences to find any clue in the case.

So far no arrest has been made.
