Seductress Killer Arrested after Raid at Men's Parlor
Patna: May 2, 2008
The police in Patna, acting swiftly after receiving anonymous tips, raided a beauty parlor located within the Twin Tower under Gandhi Maidan police station and arrested one Kiran Kumari, a woman wanted in the murder of a car driver, stealing half a dozen vehicles and selling it to buyers at dirt-cheap prices while also engaging in sex trade.
Besides Kiran, a Samastipur native living in Patna, the police also arrested four other girls engaging in sexual acts with their clients who, upon hearing the noise, managed to escape from the back door.
As reported, Kiran, wearing provocative attire and make-up, would lure unsuspecting drivers to give her a lift and finding the right opportunity, would kill him and steal his car to be later sold in the market.
The police identified her after Siwan police filed a case against her for killing the driver of a Patna lawyer and stealing his car a few months ago.
On Friday, the police received a tip that Kiran was also working as an employee of a gents' parlor near Gandhi Maidan. A raid of the facility resulted in the arrest of five women including Kiran who reportedly confessed her role in the murder of a driver in Siwan and theft of at least half a dozen cars.
While her husband is already in prison on violation of Arms Acts, the police are trying to identify and apprehend other members of the gang.
