Lodha Sworn in as Patna High Court Chief Justice. Photo by Anupam SinghRajasthan justice Rajendra Mal Lodha was sworn in by Bihar Governor R. S. Gavai as the new Chief Justice of Patna High Court at a function organized at the Governor's mansion on Tuesday.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Acting Chief Justice Chandramauli Kumar Prasad, Information Commissioner Shashank Kumar Singh, a host of Patna High Court judges and ministers from the NDA government.

The position had been temporarily filled in by Chandramauli Kumar Prasad since the retirement of former Chief Justice Rajesh Balia on March 8 this year.
