Yet another Mobile Shop Burglarized

Criminals in Patna on late Monday night broke into a mobile shop located within the Maurya Lok Shopping Complex under Kotwali police station and escaped with cash, mobile phones, and other items totaling more than Rs. 7 lakh, the police said.

The burglary took place just yards away from the police station at the Jai Mata Di Mobile shop where the thieves cut open a number of padlocks and took away hundreds of new phone sets, chargers, batteries, cell phone coupons, and cash, the store employees said on Tuesday morning after finding the shop burglarized.

Kotwali police station in-charge Mundrika Prasad said that the shop-owner was yet to submit an itemized list of the stolen items

Besides burglary, the police are also investigating the crime from other angles including inside job.
