The
security cover for the Railway Minister is
stated to have been upgraded to Z plus level.
The minister was a frequent visitor to Bihar
even as an ex-CM and is also a popular figure in
Bihar. How come suddenly he fears communal
forces that he did not face all along? He lost
the Bihar Assembly elections as also did Ram
Vilas Paswan. Paswan does not face any such
threat. It is a drain on resources to seek such
security just because he lost elections and
fears facing the electorates that voted against
his party.
Politicians who take politics as a profession
should go with hazards of occupation. An
electrical worker who goes up a pole to set
right a fault does not go up with a doctor
because of threat to his life; he takes it as an
occupational hazard. So should politicians or
otherwise they can safely remain away from the
imaginary threat perceptions and avoid a
resource drain on Government.

If
politicians are afraid of the
people, they should quit politics.
These people die a thousand deaths
before the actual death comes. They
have no concerns about the cost
involved in protecting their
worthless lives. - Satya Prasad -
