If the people of Bihar do not have a clue as to how their state gets a bad name day after day even if they are working hard and acting tough on the crime and criminal here is the news. I have found it for you the cause of it all. I follow the news from my state on a regular basis. For weeks there has been a continuous flow of good news with ikka-dukka bad patches here and there. And it has seemed that the new govt. has acted really well despite all of Center's apathy towards the state. But then, something hits me hard and it is this news that how the family of 7/11 victims are harassed by the local goons turned leaders with the help of a suddenly turned innocent police and guess who, the all knowing, Mr. Abhayanand too. Seems he is more interested in running his coaching institute and finds the glory of it too irresistible and which has turned him blind to the pathos of the lone widow.

Returning back to the point, I have a newspaper, Indian Express, which takes it upon itself the task of bringing to its readers the plight of those killed in the inhuman blast in Mumbai, I have the Mumbai govt. which has tried to take care of the victims in any way possible and here I have my state govt. which can't ensure that the widow gets her house. But then, wake up sirs and madams, people are watching you and your every moves. People see that you do not give a dime to the helpless when they actually need it. And this is why they give you a bad name. Now, what do you expect this lady to do. She should bang her head on the walls of her home in order to get it! This is so pathetic?

We have been following this news from a week now and nothing is coming out from you. It is high time to act, to act for people without any bias and only then people would respect you.
If you don't act, nobody would respect you and the state that you lead as the people are no better than their leaders. So why don't you show the world that you mean business.

Let's assume that Patna police wants to do something to get Anju's house back to her. In my view, they wont be able to do so. I don't see any role for Mr. Abhyanand too to play in this situation. The matter is in the COURT. What could be done is what Home commissioner Afzal Amanullah is doing - convince both parties to get on board and get things settle OUT of COURT as soon as possible. I wish a good luck to home commissioner's plan and wish to see Anju gets her house as soon as possible.

The question is, what if Jamuar family really has paid 60,000 rupees to the Late husband of Anju Devi? There must be a investigation to find the truth. Jamuar should not be spared if he and his family members are making this story up. Again, I am not able to understand that if a MLA like Sunil Pandey can get a slap on his wrist then who the heck is this Jamuar?

The irony - This time, the honorable Prim Minister of India is not going to call Mr. Nitish and question his sincerity about getting Anju her house back because there may not be any one from Anju's family working at the PM's office. This concept of getting things done stinks anyway!

Whatever it is, it drove me crazy this morning when I saw the pictures on PD where Anju and her infant child lying on the ground in this winter cold. This is too much! - Naren Singh, India/USA - Dec. 30, 2006

Its almost midnight in USA and as per the latest news, now Anju will get her flat by 6th of January and will invest her energy to think about how to get her two kids grow well as per her and her husband's wish. My sincere Good luck to her!

Thanks to the quick initiative taken by Mr. Nitish and his efficient team (Credit of course goes to Commissioner Amanullah who supervised the parties to get issue solved out of COURT).

This is height of successful Gandhigiri! Well done Anju!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!! - Naren Singh, India/USA - Dec. 30, 2006
