I
think that the Bihari NRIs and the NRBs do not
have the moral right to comment on the current
state of Bihar because I am one them as I ran
away from Bihar when I was 6 years old. In fact
my parents joined me in my endeavour.
I say this because we have commented, made
statements on the poor state of Bihar as if we
had not gone away had Bihar been at par with
Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra etc.
There are more NRIs from above mentioned states
than from Bihar.
Suggestions and comments would be more
meaningful from people who live in Bihar and
endure the day to day problems and hardships but
I seldom see any comment or article from a
person in Bihar, but many Biharis do write from
Delhi, Mumbai etc.
By posting our comments and arguing among
ourselves and having heated debates will not
yield any result, take for the case of Mr. Ravi
Pandey, he was attacked for showing a direction
and people mistook him for a crook.
We consider ourselves as more intelligent than
others because we live outside our country and
it is a myth which has become a fact that you
have to be more intelligent to get a chance to
work outside the country.
I would say without any strings attached that
all those who have achieved something have
achieved it because their knowledge was coupled
with resources available but I would consider
people living in Bihar and in India to be more
intelligent because even with negligible
resources they have achieved something which we
would never had achieved when we were in India
or Bihar.
So there is a saying that "Jiske ghar ho daney,
uske bewakoof bhi sayane" (now please do not
attack me as I have not intended this saying to
all the NRBs and Bihari NRIs).
I know my level of intelligence hence will never
preach but will take opportunities to help my
people in Bihar with whatever I have and have
already started the process and will do it alone
rather than putting up before this forum and
getting acid attacks.

This
article is written straight from the
heart of Sanjay Gupta depicting the
hard truth about ground realities.
It is good to listen that you
already have started the process of
contribution to Bihar and I
congratulate you as you have
gathered courage to do so. The
famous proverbs "No Risk No Game"
and "Jo kare sharam uska phoote
karam" suggests us to leave aside
the fear and shame factors and start
playing the game. To hit sixer you
have to raise the ball on the sky
and risk getting caugh out. To help
our people I have to tighten my belt
and be ready to play the innings by
keeping aside the fear factors that
riding on my head because of the
murder of my family members, loots
and dacoities.
It will be a great help if we
disclose our activities after the
successful implementations, so that
rest of us will learn the lesson,
get confidence and initiate the
process. - Tarakeswar Dubey -
