We
should not anticipate much from
Politicians, dear Seema ji. We
experienced chameleon ship since
last 60 years. Once the election is
over, who cares about education, Law
& Order, so far rulers’ enjoy z-plus
security and syrupy for their
family.
Your apprehension about running out
of time is obvious. Don’t forget
Nitish is politician and not a
social worker. The rule of politics
says tall claims for three years,
inaugurations on 4th year and
implementations in 5th year to keep
afresh Voters’ short Memory and
Nitish has to pursue this tenet to
enjoy second term of his Chief
Ministry.
Now-a-days private schools
mushroomed across Bihar and in
couple of years we will overpower
illiteracy. The credit should go to
NGO and private participants and not
to Politicians who try best to
hijack this claim to impose another
false hope on its citizens.
To change the doom of Bihar, all
concerned Biharis have to shoulder
responsibility and exercise
capability. I know my plan and will
inform this forum on successful
accomplishment. - Tarakeswar

Its
only two months old government with
a lot of things to do and undo as
well. They have to undo a lot of
things (work culture) inculcated by
previous regime. Probably I don't
need to say what he have to do. In
my opinion, they are trying their
best. I was in Bihar when government
changed and stayed there for about a
month after Nitish jee took over.
Before his government, I had to
drive my motorcycle very carefully
on the NH 30A (connecting
Biharsharif and Fatuha via Daniawan).
Soon after his government, I did not
see many potholes in that particular
NH and I was cruising without worry.
I am not saying that he did a lot
but definitely a step in right
direction. I am sure that under his
leadership Bihar will develop but
let's keep patience. - Manoj

I
am heading to Bihar very soon and
will have a chance for an onsite
assessment. Once I return from
Bihar, I will write about the
improvements in Bihar, but I must
admit that I do not think there will
be any. Coming back to Mr. Manoj, as
he said, this is a bit early to make
comments, as he has many things to
do. Shall we treat Mr. Nitish as a 5
year old who does not know what he
is saying? Mr. Manoj, Our CM has
been in politics since the JP
movement, and he knows what he is
doing (or not) and what he is
saying. This is the man who
announced that once he will come to
power, crime will be controlled
within 3 months.
Now he needs more time because he is
a CM? So what is the difference
between Rabri and Nitish? He simply
wants the post by any means so he
can reap the fruit that Mrs. Rabri
was eating. He does not act in ways
which suggest he truly cares about
Bihar.
I appreciate Mr. Tarakeswar Dubey's
assessment: "Who cares about
Education, Law & Order, all the care
benefits and Z Plus security" at the
expense of tax payer money. I like
to quote his words "The rule of
politics says tall claims for three
years, inaugurations on 4th year and
implementations in 5th year to keep
afresh Voters' short memory and
Nitish has to pursue this tenet to
enjoy second term of his Chief
Ministry." Wow! You must be a
genius: a clear cut assessment of
Politicians (I will not call them
leaders because they do not exhibit
those particular qualities).
Seemaji, why did you think no one
can read? I come to this site
everyday and read every article
posted. I read your earlier article
"Bihar Can Do It" but didn't post my
comments because before I post my
comments, it was closed. You had
mentioned in your earlier article
that Nitish should ensure he has
honest and dedicated people in his
government, but I do not see anyone
honest and dedicated. All he has are
the same old cheaters and criminals,
who joined him so they can loot
Bihar with both hands.
Mr. Sanjay, I had also posted my
comment against your article
"Hopeless Bihar". I was not talking
against you. I simply said I have
hope and was in agreement with your
points, because I face problems
whenever I go to Bihar. - S. M.
