I am
really shocked to read the article
HERE IS MY PLAN by Ravi Pandey. Its
cheap nonsense and malicious effort
to take money from readers of
PatnaDaily. The quality of article
like My heart Bleeds and the simple
things we can do for Bihar is so
touching and genuine.
If I see another article by Mr.
Pandey demanding money online I will
file a legal case against PatnaDaily
for promoting such fraud and Mr.
Pandey for cheating.
Readers here are not blind and I
will ensure such things are reported
before the law. - Tejendra, Patna

Dear Ravi,
Your plan is great! And I think if
you are confident of executing such
project please go ahead and take
loans from Bank or by any other
means in your capacity, deliver
results and then if you want to
expand it, you may talk to NRB's on
the basis of your experience and
expertise on the same. And then
whoever will have interest in such
endeavour, will definitely come out
to help you or to work with you.
But, please do not think this as a
Litmus test for NRBs. There are lot
of NRBs who have been doing things
for Bihar and Bihari on his own
capacity. There are some groups as
well (say Biharbrains, Bangalore
Bihari, etc.) who have been active
in these. But please understand one
thing, every individual who has
earned money with hard work want to
invest in those things which
satisfies him/her. There has been a
lot of NGOs working in Bihar who
collect money in the name of
development of Bihar but where the
money goes nobody knows. So, people
are more careful in investing in any
venture.
I am not doubting your ability or
any problem with you as an
individual. But please understand
the problems. But once you have
executed your plan you can talk to
people with confidence and you will
find a lot of people interesting in
similar stuff. - Avinash Jha –

Dear PatnaDaily Readers
Every time NRIS from all over the
world plan to work and help Bihar,
we back out because the plan which
is submitted to us for the welfare
of the state of Bihar and the Bihari
community is in fact non-realistic
and it is more the benefit of the
organisers than the actually people
for whom the project is actually
launched. In fact the orgnaisers
benefit 60 percent and the rest 40
percent reaches the needy. This is
one reason why Bihar is still
backward. Look at the Animal
Husbandry scam the money was
withdrawn for the cattle and we all
know who actually got it.
Here, our friend Pandey Babu is
again giving us a Govt tender by
coming up with a imaginary prices.
Rs 2 Lakhs for furniture for keeping
10 or 20 computers??? I guess Bihar
has become more expensive then USA.
Then Pandey Babu is again asking Rs
40,000 for each computer when HCL is
giving the best computer for Rs
29,000 unless Panday Babu wants the
institute to be also used for
watching multimedia and Aishwarya
Rai and Malika Sherawats movies.
When institutional purchase is done
in bulk the prices go down that's
the law and practice of economics
and trade. I would not like to
further breakdown the prices of what
Pandey Babu has come up with.
However Pandey Babu the proposed
computer center should be to help
any student who is economically poor
and please do not enforce your
Mandal commission in this institute.
Does Laloojis kids needs reservation
or a poor Jhaji from any remote
village in Darbhanga needs
reservation??? The criteria should
be economically backward no caste
and Mandal comandal politics here. I
think we Biharis should give up this
reservation and go in broader sense
and help all those who need rather
then any division on caste.
Respected Pandey Babu please be more
realistic when u use the word NGO
and NON profit organisation. Your
proposition is the opposite of the
above.
Money can be transferred to India
from any part of the world in 24
hours for a genuine cause but we all
need to verify the genuineness of
the proposal. I am sure there are
Biharis all over India who can
donate generously for helping Bihar
and are waiting for right direction
but the call for help should be more
realistic and genuine rather then a
extortion plan as we are shocked to
read here.
Also lastly Pandey Babu, please keep
politics away from the temple of
learning. I was kind of surprised
the way you have written the
proposal as no one will be kidnapped
and Nitishji will not have problem
and all that. Business means
strictly business Pandey Babu. Thank
you for time - Ashotosh Singh,

The
article "Here is My Plan" by Mr.
Pandey is a good plan of his own
development rather then the
development of Bihar. What a Holy
Plan?? I won't say anything further.
- Shashi Jha, Patna – Jan. 27,

A very good practical approach and
we should appreciate this. -
Bhanu Prakash – Jan. 27, 2006
Not
a very novel idea but definitely a
right step to think of. I am all for
it! Finance should not be a problem;
it is the execution of the plan and
day-to-day operations with integrity
where the challenges lie. I would
wait to hear more from others. –
Ajay Kumar – Jan. 27, 2006
I
think this forum should not carry
articles like the one we have read
"Here is my plan by Ravi Pandey".
This article is only directed
towards the author's personal
business interest". Anyways I am
writing my opinion and hope it gets
published.
PatnaDaily is a web portal to keep
informed about Patna news and events
and views on issues in Bihar. I
think this is the best source of
information for the Biharis abroad.
I am surprised and shocked to read
your plan, which i fear might
involve even the PATNADAILY into
some scam like that of Animal
husbandry , where funds sanctioned
for other purposes was siphoned off
for personal benefits of the few
politicians not to be named here.
Your plan is just out of the box and
seems more like a govt whitepaper of
previous regime which was ousted out
in last assembly elections. The
figures provided by you are
indicating good scope of commission
to the organisers. It has been one
of the reasons why NRIS don't trust
their own people in Bihar when it
comes to investment.
You will see Bihar will develop now
because there is lot of awareness
and sincere efforts so please do not
use your calculator too much. I
would advise you to prepare yourself
for the next election and with the
MP fund you can implement your
plans. I would also request you that
Patna daily is a readers and writers
forum doing a very nice and clean
information link between all of us,
so please do not make it a business
shop here. Hope you will not
misguide the readers and play with
their emotions and finances for
which we all will be thankful to
you.
Instead of PatnaDaily, you should
have put up a stall at Hyderabad
during the Pravasi Bharti Niwas on
Jan 16th-06, still not late you can
put a banner at Patna Airport and
Patna Junction to sell your plan but
kindly let the readers of Patna
daily be at peace and continue the
tradition of honest views here. -
Raj Sharma, Detroit, USA. – Jan. 27,

This is a novel plan to rip off the
Biharis living abroad in the name of
development of Bihar. Someone is
again trying to start another "GHOTALA"
in the name of development of Bihar.
I agree with some writers who also
have expressed doubts about the "
HOLY PLAN" of Mr. Ravi Pandey. -
Arun Das, Montreal, Canada – Jan.

Please guys! Give Mr. Pandey some
benefit of doubt. I think we are all
jumping on to our conclusion based
on our interpretation. The PLAN may
be not that great and "Out of the
Box". Let's not bombard Mr. Pandey
on his intentions. His intentions
could have been completely different
and honest. He may be a bad
communicator - who knows.
I thought it was an honest opinion
and it was not an attempt on making
another scam. The plan may have
problems and seems like prepared in
haste but that does not relay any
message on intention.
Please be little patient when it
comes to personal attack. -
Roshan Kumar – Jan. 27, 2006
Its really pathetic selling a bogus
plan by Mr. Pandey on the
PatnaDaily.Com which is a
information and news site for Global
Biharis.
I am sure no one is ready to buy his
plan to scam. PatnaDaily is such a
clean intellectual website with not
even one advertisement on its
website to earn revenue and finding
some author demanding money is
disgraceful on PatnaDaily.Com . Mr.
Pandey first do your own development
and then plan to develop Bihar. I
guess this discussion should end now
with a majority of readers being
against this bogus plan of Mr.
Pandey who has wasted the time of
everyone. - Upendra Srivastava,
Singapore - Jan. 27, 2006
This is a prime example of why Bihar
is where Bihar is today. We are all
crooks so we see others as a crook
too. 15 years of being raped and
plundered by Lalu, Sadhu, Mishra and
others, we don't want to trust even
our own mothers anymore.
Agreed Mr. Pandey's plan was far
from being thought-out as he claims
("doing my homework") but to call
him a scamster shows the 'kenkra
(crab) mentality' of the Biharis. -
Bhushan - Jan. 27, 2006
I do not like idea of SC/ST/OBC.
Since I am opposed to reservations
in their present incarnation, I can
not support this idea. It should be
purely on the basis of the economic
condition of the candidate. Also I
want to clarify that the economic
condition can't be determined on the
basis of Gram Panchayat or Block,
where you can get a certificate for
10 rupees.
I think the salaries and expenses
are a bit unrealistic. Are you
buying Super Computer for 40
thousand? If you convert the current
price for a P4 computer from the US
$400 into Indian rupees, it will be
less than 20 thousand including 19"
LCD screen. You do not need the
brand new fastest computers to start
a training center. You can start
with a used one. Is there something
this computer institute will offer
that is not offered at the others
that have mushroomed all over Bihar?
- S. M. Khurshid Anwar, New York,
USA - Jan. 27, 2006
Reading the article on Here is My
plan definately shows someone is out
for something and that something is
not the development of Bihar but
self development. Further more
people like Mr Roshan and mr Bhushan
has continued the tradition of
debating the wrong cause for the
wrong reasons. Mr Bhushans remarks
that we dont trust our mothers and
Kekra mentality is all his personal
outlook and brainworks and it should
be expunged from this forum for
being far from decent. Where does
Kekra and mothers come in this
development plan??? - Vikas
Yadav, Manchester UK - Jan. 27, 2006
Bhushanji first you do your homework
before you comment. This is not a
school classroom or a chai ka dukan
where people talk anything. If the
topic is meaningless it will get
strong reactions from people
specially when there is a call for
Rs 10 lakhs. Bhushanji people will
not read and pay Rs 10 Lakhs for a
freak plan and hence the comments of
some authors are justified and it
has rightly been called a HOLY PLAN
by someone in this forum. You first
need to get rid of this Bihari
mentality of believing that
everything u do is right. There are
others also who are seriously
planning to invest in Bihar but on
concrete plans, and no one has money
to waste hence a heated discussion
has taken place. Mr Bhushan wants
all NRIs to give money blindly in
the name of Bihar???
Mr Bhushan first clean the
corruption then expect anything from
anywhere. - Ranjan Prasad,
Melbourne, Australia - Jan. 27, 2006
The
general sentiment of the readers
here is that Mr. Pandey in his plan
has not been able to convince anyone
of any actual development and hence
we all interpret it as one more plan
to rip off Biharis abroad. Mr.
Roshan you are not making any sense
except by endorsing people to wash
their hands off from their hard
earned money coz the plan is made in
haste or its another scam which you
are also not sure off. Its everyone
duty here to check anyone from
misguiding and duping. The comments
of other readers are eye opener and
we all cannot be confused by Mr.
Roshan and Mr. Ravi Pandey. Confused
people please stay away and let
serious and factual discussions
continue in PatnaDaily without any
bias to anyone. - Vipin Singh,
Patna - Jan. 27, 2006
I
am writing this comment not because
I am frustrated by reading Pandey's
ill conceived plan but because the
other Biharis adding up their
non-sense comments to his article.
Let's please stop making PatnaDaily
a 'Jootam-Paijaar' center. Pandey, I
am sure you are an NRB (by looking
at your home work style) and if you
think that you have done your home
work then move on. There are several
state laws and plan that will help
you kick off your project.
Few Tips: you should be aware that
opening an educational institute is
not a baby-game. You should have
accreditations/affiliation to make
sure the degree/certificate you will
award to students will be accepted
by others and they will not be
simply considered a peace of fancy
paper. You need a good
Infrastructure for a computer
center. Calculating furniture and
computer cost will not help this
dream come true. There are lot other
factors you must chip in. Just for
the factual awareness, you can have
a very good computer in 12,000 Rs
(no need to buy a Rs 29,000 one).
You must consider about Electricity,
Building, Commute for the students
(because most of them will be poor,
isn't it?).
I am sure CM and ACM of Bihar
already has several such plans ready
to be executed. Why not we just help
Bihar government, as much as we can!
- Naren - Jan. 27, 2006
I
left Bihar at age of 13 and left
India at age of 23. Now in USA for
10 years. No immediate family living
in Bihar. A big house, lots of land
in Bihar mostly used by lower class
"Bataidar". So what? Does that mean
I have no right to cheat Biharis? Is
swindling and doing fraud in Bihar
is a monopoly of Biharis living in
Bihar? By having Bihari genes, don't
I have any right to cheat Bihar and
Biharis? And is PatnaDaily doing
something wrong in giving me my
rights?
I know I can never pay my mortgage
(600K) by cheating Biharis, probably
it will also not be possible to buy
another BMW by cheating Biharis but
few small items - Plasma TV, diamond
ring for wife - is anything wrong if
I get that using some cheating and
that too while seating in air
conditioned cabin? But in a
unanimous verdict, by a common
vigilante behaviour, you all refuted
my intention. You all have stopped a
sinister scam. You all have avoided
another Chara Ghotala. Maan Gaye
Aapki Parakhi Najar.
While writing this article I was
worried that it may not get noticed.
My well thought article "Social
Justice Virus" which I wrote on New
Year day got only 3 comments. I was
hoping that at least I will get few
people stir up and start thinking
about. A small start but you know
what? Even after being a hardcore
Bihari all my life I could not even
think of the fourth direction which
each and every of my Bihar fellow
honest brothers are seeing .
No I am not offended. A scam is
caught before it got started. What
is there to feel bad about?
Tejendra ji you don't have to file a
case. I am coming to Patna this year
in Nov. I can meet you at the
airport or railway station and you
can take me to jail directly. How I
look? Go in jail and look for
criminals. Look for pictures of
chara ghotala accused. I look
exactly like that. Don't get fooled
if you find a young professional
instead. Don't get fooled if I tell
you that I was one of the
Maharashtra topper in HSC and my BE.
Don't get fooled if I tell you that
I have a Master from a top US
university and I have a genuine
desire to help Bihar. Don't get
fooled if I tell you that I have
left my freelancing part time job to
help spread of Hindi in a US city.
Don't get fooled if I tell you that
I have worked within my community
(caste) and because of my effort 15
students in Bihar remote village are
getting scholarships.
Ashotosh ji, you got it right also.
Yes I had complete price list of
Satyam and HCL in front of me and
the price you see is nothing but
real price plus my commission. You
got it totally right. And yes I
mentioned SC/ST/OBCs you know why
because I am soon planning to leave
my IT job here and go and contest an
election in a Bihar and why will
they vote for me if I don't give
preference to them. You are 100 %
right.
Dear Shashi Jha ji, I use to eat
Biryani and pulao before while I was
in India and now I am eating bread
and salad. I have houses in 3 Indian
cities and one in USA (of course all
by money earned by similar scams). I
just don't know what I can do more
to develop me perhaps you can help
me.
Arun Das ji , Raj Sharma ji, Upendra
Srivastava ,Vikas Yadavji , Ranjan
Prasad ji, Vipin Singh ji, I don't
have time to comment and reply each
of you as I am at work and I will to
do some important scams today also
but only I can say you are 100 %
right .
Roshan ji, Bhushan ji, Bhanu Prakash
ji, Ajay Kumar ji, S. M. Khurshid
Anwar ji, Naren ji, I think you all
got it totally wrong. You completely
missed the whole picture and somehow
in spite of all your education and
experience completely failed in
seeing through the haze. But don't
worry your incapability will not
hamper Bihar as you are in minority.
Well I am not going to say that I am
not going to write again on
PatnaDaily because read my article
on New Year day. I have taken
resolution that I will keep reading
and writing at PatnaDaily. Well I
don't have to worry because now you
know my intention so you will be
vigilant any way.
I have not read lot about
Rabindranath Tagore neither I know
Bengali much but one line I vaguely
remember
"Jab Thode Daak sune keo na keo na
aashe, Tobe ekla chalao re"
"ekla chalo ekla chalo ekla chalo
re"
Well an article written for
PatnaDaily when I was high on
adrenaline I think has become my
resolution. I have only become much
more resolute and much more
convinced that this is a noble idea
otherwise why so many opposition. I
can not promise a timeframe but I
can assure you that one day I will
open this institute and send you
name and address on PatnaDaily. I
think I will have a choice of not
putting that name and address here
but then how will I come to know
behind all the conspiracy, all the
evils and all the destruction and
all my sinister ideas behind opening
this.
I have only realized that I am a
better person, as so many people are
opposing and cursing me

What are you talking about Mr.

I am shocked to see the response of
the 'intellectual' class. I sure did
expect some of them to have doubts
over the intention of the author,
but never knew that they would
express it in a manner so blunt and
blatant. The author has just come up
with an idea, he did not give an
account number of a bank to anyone
to deposit money into. The idea may
not sound practical to many, and I
am no exception to it. But, the
questions should be raised over the
proposal, not over the integrity of
the proposer himself. Why did nobody
suggest a better idea in his
response? I feel so bad for the
author.
Raviji, in response to your article
"Doing what you can do for Bihar", I
wrote, "It is my personal experience
that getting people spend a few Rs
for a benevolent cause is not so
easy". It seems you did not believe
me. I do not want to discourage you,
but there are some other ways in
which we can help our people without
any dollar cost! Money is the
simplest form of contribution. It is
one time, and requires no further
duties on part of contributor.
Divide responsibility among them if
you want them to show interest. The
major reason for this attack against
you is that they think it is only of
your own interest, what would be
their role other than signing a
check off? And what is the scope? Is
it just a computer literacy program?
Another computer center in the Bihar
capital?
Students of Bihar, I think, need
just a little guidance and they can
beat the world. Struggle is in their
blood. The more they are challenged,
the more they excel.
Many of us are experts in our
respective fields. What will we do
by keeping the knowledge within
ourselves? Are we ready to spend
some time off our weekend schedule
to answer the students' queries? Can
we write articles of their interest?
Recently, some IITians arranged a
workshop in Patna for the aspirant
students, appearing in the JEE this
year. Can't we do something similar
with a little help from PatnaDaily?
We can select a few prestigious
institutes, which have internet
connection, as part of this pilot
program. If successful, we can
expand it to the small towns.
Guys, the initial phase of the
project does not require a single
penny from our pocket, but let me
see how many of us, who were
vociferously complaining against the
author, are ready to accomplish
this. Come on, shout at me, ridicule
this idea, question it's
feasibility, or suggest the ways to
implement it, or another better
idea, but don't just keep mum. And
if you do, then you have no moral
right to call someone corrupt.
Whenever your 'Bihari pride' gets
hurt, come to this website, read
some euphoric articles, and console
yourself. Take a long breath, count
1 to 10, and let the feeling go
away. - Kumod Jha - Jan. 28, 2005
I have sent a message that I would
like to contribute USD 600 / year on
the noble cause of Mr. Ravi Pandey ,
but that comment never was posted
whereas lampoons and abuses were
hurled at him.
I have never met Ravi Pandey and
have for the first time read him had
it been some other person with the
same idea I would have liked to
contribute, I had also said that
since I am in Thailand my income is
not at par with you technical guys
in the USA but I would love to
promote what Ravi has in his mind.
The people who have said that it is
a scam , please one of the cynics
prove that he has lost money by
contributing for a noble cause?
It is all hearsay and figment of
one's own wayward imagination.
I am with Ravi on this project and
also my uncle who is retired PWD
engineer will contribute by his
teachings as he is a scholar in
Mathematics and there is no
mathematical problem which he cannot
solve.
I will garner his support and he has
many friends of his ilk who would
voluntarily help.
The others who have vehemently
opposed this , no remorse for them
and no hard feelings.
Dear Ravi, please go ahead I will
support you and that guy who will
file a defamation suit let him also
include my name in the respondent
list but with proof or else I will
file a counter suit against him. -
