Nitishji has started his inning with a big fanfare but so far it seems to be old wine in new bottle.

He is following Lalu's path with a faster speed and is more concerned about his image than delivering result .

Laluji promoted MY whereas Nitishji is also focusing on BHUKU (Bhumihar-Kurmi) whereas other sections of the society are not being given the same opportunities in state development activities.

Laluji took few years in divorcing his political advisor/guru whereas he took only few months to do the same.

Senior IAS and other officers have already been started shifting twice within 3-5 months like earlier Raj under political pressure. On the other hand bureaucrats are being used for serving political purposes as well.

Brides and grooms look into all the aspects before marriage whereas even after birth of child (formation of the govt.) he is apprehensive of his marriage. Yes, he has reservations in seeing Narendra Modi in his state but ruling in alliance with BJP. Appeasement of Muslims is unabated like Lalu-raj and state is fast becoming den of terrorists. Bhagalpur decision, Rajya Sabha tickets and other indicators does not seem good for long lasting relationship of alliance.

Law and order has not been under control and atrocities on the lowest layer of society is still on.

People at large has great expectations from him and he should tread cautiously to deliver best for the state.

Comments:
Dear Bharati ,

I strongly oppose your use of sentences where you have mentioned the name of a few castes. How can you? And on what basis?

Interesting, you have artificially coined a new word "Bhuku". (Bhumihar and Kurmi)

1. Prakash Jha is going to be benefited by Nitish' new policies on development, is he a BHUKU?

2. Sri Nand Kishore Singh ex-IAS is now a policy-maker and decision-maker of Bihar. Is he a BHUKU?

3. R. K. Singh, IAS is the secretary of most powerful and money-involved department, Road Construction. Is he a BHUKU?

4. M. M. Jha is planning a new, educated Bihar. Is he BHUKU?

5. Anil Sinha, IPS, IG (HQ) is most visible at 1, Anne Marg. Is he a BHUKU?

6. How many new medical colleges and new engineering colleges to BHUKU? I guess none.

7. Do you mean if Radha Krishnan Jha was the GURU of LALU, then complete JHA community were in favour of Lalu?? If yes, then you are wrong.

8. What's wrong, If Nitish installed his own friend Lallan Singh as JD-U chief in BIHAR? They have friendship since 1974 and he is the Hanuman for Nitish who designed all political games of 2000 and 2005. Its total personal relationship. In Nitish raj, only two Kurmis are on top post: one is Nitish himself and another is the DGP. For your kind information, the present DGP was famous for his close relations with Lalu and his retirement is due. Only two Bhumihars are on top, P. K. Shahi amd Lalan Singh. Again P. K. Shahi because he was much involved in fodder scam from Nitish side. His Hard work was due.

If you are talking about 4 ministers, then Ramashray Babu was the choice of Nitish himself although Ramashray Babu lost the election. Health Minister from the quota of BJP, Ajit Kumar is a qualified engineer who, along with Anil Kumar, jumped from LJP to JD-U, so their accommodation was required.

In Fact , Nitish is taking all good people from every section. Please don't have such feelings on PatnaDaily. - Ranjan Rituraj Sinh - July 29, 2006

It appears to me that the author has failed to provide correct answer particularly about the cast combination. It also appears that he has limited knowledge about the bureaucracy and political system. I do not see common man of Bhumihar and Kurmi have benefited from presented Govt. Two key persons of Bhumihar are close to CM due to other reason. Advocate General is close due to old association with the CM. This has nothing to do with his caste. ADG is honest and and capable officer. His honesty is not hidden to anybody in Bihar and Nation as a whole. He has suffered in the earlier Govt. If CM is promoting honesty, then it should not be linked with caste.

This type nasty propaganda is being raised every time when particular caste gets opportunity by virtue of merit. - Ashok - July 29, 2006

Looking to the messages posted by Mr. Ranjan and Mr Mukesh it seems that Mr Bharti has written this article based on some ill motives. - Dr R. S. Rai, Faculty, Statistics & O.R., Amity Business School, Jaipur - July 31, 2006

It is unfortunate that you have used the word BHUKU. Either you don't kow the fact or you don't want to know the fact. There is no doubt Bhumihars and Kurmis did hard work for the installation of the government what about Nand Kishore Yadav, Sharad Yadav..? They have been given due credentials in the government and the party. Seems you are hurt only because Nitish Kumar is in power. - Ram N Kumar - Aug. 1, 2006
