Readers Write

Recently my writing on Prof Choudhary received many comments. Many of them felt it was right to expose such things but many felt that it was not worth discussing such things. Later on someone commented that instead of talking about terrorism we waste our time on talking about someone’s personal life. I thank all my fellow readers for their responses and also I just want to say that each and every writer is free to write in PatnaDaily about any topic which ever he/she feels worth writing. The other day I wrote about the Super-30 because I felt that it was worth informing all Biharis for something they can feel proud of.

Today I want to inform everyone about one young tribal woman who has successfully passed and joined the northern railway as its first woman driver. Her name is Lakshmi Lakra and she is from Jharkhand. She has a diploma in electronics and she took up the railway exams last year. She was also only one woman in a batch of 372 trainees. She is an ideal example for all women of Bihar who want to do some thing in life. According to Northern Railways Divisional Railway Manger Mr. Pradeep Kumar these exams are open to all irrespective of gender. Any takers?

The other day I read somewhere "Sky is not the limit, there are stars beyond it."

Comments:
Congratulations to Laxmi Lakra for becoming the first female train driver in all of Hindustan. I like congratulatory positive looking articles like the one the Author has written.

Also, the article on the immorality of the Hindi Prof. was a good topic to dissect on this forum, as we should always try to keep social life clean and free and keep perversions from emerging on to the street and becoming mainstream life.

I was only voicing my dismay and disappointment at the lack of attention that our fellow readers express on issues of national security. We fail to realize that the pressure of Islamic fundamentalism is building up outside our borders. Our disinterest only makes the walls of our submarine thinner and thinner. The response to the article on the Hindi Prof. was only used as a yard-stick of comparison to highlight the reluctance / indifference to issues pertaining to National Security.

Please keep up the good work. We must point out to the good things or we become pessimists.- Aarcee - July 20, 2006
