Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.

Dreams of future is any time better than the history of past. So. Let’s start dreaming for future. But this dream has to be further complemented with thought and action. Change is the constant, the signal for rebirth, and the egg of the Phoenix. We, the people of Bihar, are also going through a change. This change is a political change, a social change, an enriching change and a change in traditional thought. Now, it’s up to us how we can exploit this change and make a Bihar of our dreams, which it truly deserves.

Let’s discuss one nice concept given by Andrew S. Grove, the former CEO of Intel Incorporation in his book “Only the paranoids survive”. He says, “Every person or business faces a strategic inflection point in it’s life and the future of, that person or business depends on how well he is exploiting this point.” He explains this strategic inflection point as an event, which comes due to an unexpected transform. Here I will add that Bihar, as an entity, is also going through it’s strategic inflection point and the future will depend on our actions. How well are we able to handle the circumstances and how well we can exploit the situations, will build the required roadmap. By going through the recent development in the state, like 500 Crore development plan for Patna, tourism initiative, cleaning-up the roaring crime, we can put a satisfactory smile on our face that everything is going well. But continuing these initiatives will take lots of determination and devotion. The will power of next coming leaders will decide whether we are able to achieve our goals or not.

Focusing on root causes for past catastrophe will help to build a roadmap for immense upcoming prospects. The first thing would be to improve law and order, so that people can feel secure. We know this won’t come in one day but stalwart determination and sturdy will-power can heave this dream into reality. The second thing would be to fabricate a striking infrastructure, which can magnetize investors and gratify citizens. As we all know we have plenty of courage for the abstract, but not for the concrete. Let’s put some tangible courage to achieve these basic things and hope the bright future is waiting for us. Amen!
