Crime and Criminals. There is a difference of few letters only in these two words, but taken as a wider meaning the impact is completely different. Crime is the work done in the society and criminals are those who perform this work.

Now question arises why do people commit crime? As they say "Hungry man can do any thing wrong". Does that imply that crime is done only by hungry people? Wrong! It is done not only by people who are hungry but also by them who have no appetite to eat because they have everything. Let us ask ourselves, is punishment same for both? If found guilty, do they get similar kind of punishment? No never….

Most of the time a wealthy person or a famous personality gets away after doing crime but it is the lower section of the society that suffers in the prison. Why is so? The answer is that our society suffers from corruption from the lower level so things get manipulated easily at that level.

Imagine the case of two incidents happened at Bihar by doctors. In the first incident one doctor committed suicide because his juniors and other workers refused to listen to him. Why do we have such careless attitude among people belonging to medical profession? Do we think of ourselves too good to listen to others? Imagine what will happen to his family? How are they going to survive?

In other case, the doctor himself hires goons to harass the income tax people. Imagine what lesson our younger generation is learning from them.

The question now arises who are the real criminals behind these incidents? Is the doctor who committed suicide is to be blamed for being a weak person or the people who drove him to such situation? In the other case, are the goons who harassed the officials are criminals or the doctor who hired them to do such an act?

Let us think again on these issues and then decide who should get pardoned and who should be given punishment.
