An
Indian medical student is killed in Russia in a
racially motivated attack. Such attacks are
perpetrated on Asian and African students in
that country. We are furious!!! This is
injustice!!! What was his folly? The color of
his skin?
There is racism on the cricket field. The
Pakistani Captain is accused of ball-tampering
by the umpire Darrell Hair. He is proved to be
innocent. We are furious again. These whites
what do they think of us Asians? We are thinking
of us as Asians and we are not ready to accept
injustice done to another Asian. The definition
of ‘us’ has widened to include all the people of
Asian origin.
Zoom in a little and you see so many conflicts
among us Asians. Are the whites to blame when
they look down on us? Are we not responsible for
creating a bad impression about ourselves by our
constant squabbling and our lack of initiative
and will to resolve our disputes? Most countries
populated by white people fought prolonged World
Wars and realized the pain, suffering and the
very futility of fighting to resolve disputes
and are living together peacefully, co-operating
and developing.
We Asians and Africans are still in the conflict
phase. Unless we resolve our conflicts fast and
learn to live together peacefully, co-operate
and develop, we can not expect others to be nice
with us. We will remain the crows among the
peacocks.

the guy who killed her? Because she
is a girl?
There is black on white racism in
South Africa. We are furious again.
These blacks what do they think of
whites? We are thinking of us as
whites and we are not ready to

Kosovo. Whites are killing whites in
Russia. Russians kill Armenians,
Georgian kill Russians and they all
kill the Ukrainians and Moldovans.
Meanwhile Latvians want to kill the
Georgians and Armenians.
We whites are still in the conflict
phase. Unless we resolve our
conflicts fast and learn to live
together peacefully, co-operate and
develop, we can not expect others to
be nice with us. We will remain the
crows among the other crows. -

Yup
you are right. I was looking at the
problem from a narrow perspective.
You have widened the horizons. We
humans, have inherited a gene for
violence from the chimps. In the
wild chimps have been seen to become
violent suddenly for no apparent
cause. All is peaceful and then
suddenly, for no observable reason,
aggression starts. Guess, on the
mental level, we are still slightly
modified chimps after all. -
