Heartfelt
kudos to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the
Government for putting into effect of the New
Police Act. Of course the opposition is opposed
as they in my view are bent on causing unrest to
such a degree so as to topple the current Govt.
A key component is the establishment of local
community based police stations. This allows
greater access of the citizens to this vital
service. The Bill also funds the project and
gives the Superintendent of Police the authority
in making the expenditures.
