The death sentence of MP Anand Mohan in the case of DM G. Krishnaiah's killing in 1994 shows that our judiciary has honoured justice and not embarrassed corruption. Now it is time to see when these criminals are punished actually. People of Bihar must pin down every criminal cum politician along with the assistance of Police. They should show that administration does work effectively and efficiently if all are united. People power is ultimate when our representatives fail to protect us. When our social security is in jeopardy then the guilty men should pay the price irrespective of their position and authority. Long Live People!

Comments:
Apropos to the article by Mr Mitra I must appreciate the lower court's decision regarding murder of DM G Krishnaiyah. It will certainly send a clear message to the criminals who think that they can deceive the society by wearing the white clothes of politics.

We can not blame everything on the system to nurture these kind of people. We the people who select our representatives to serve us are equally responsible for providing importance, select them for the Constitutional offices. There must be awareness amongst the people-the voters, about the character and capability of representatives and not just caste or heavy-weightiness in terms of criminal activities.

Also the political parties should also restrain to use these type of persons for getting seats inn elections. There should be unanimity amongst all parties in this regard.

We hope the judgment will be upheld up to the Apex court and the guilty who murdered DM Krishnaiyah will taste the drug of justice. - Nitesh Ranjan, Patna/Jalandhar - Oct. 5, 2007
