Dear Mr. Modi:

In reference to this news, it is a waste of your intelligence to blame Mrs. Rabri Devi for connivance. She is not an intellectual. In my view she lacks independence to do anything. Everything she has - her infamy and notoriety, her position and standing and her political ignominy and shame, - belongs to her husband. Without him she is nonexistent; and for him, she would not mind going to prison if that were the verdict in the forthcoming DA case. I would go to any length to defend her ignorance in that she is incapable of thinking in terms of conspiracy. To say that she has the reasoning power to engage in conspiracy with her husband to stop federal grants from coming to Bihar is like saying that she has graduated from Harvard University and she could teach graduate level courses. The poor lady can not even figure out what is grant and what is bribery. How can she stop the relief?

On the contrary, I would concede that her husband, Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav, could be the person behind all the mischief. He is the one who has a convoluted mind and spurious motives. He is also the centripetal force with a dagger on the UPA's neck. He knows that without him the UPA government cannot stay in power a day longer. Since he supports the government, he gets what he wants from the UPA government. Did not he get what he wanted from the CBI court? It is like this: if he does not want Nitish Administration to get the Central Flood relief grant, the Nitish administration will not get it. He is that powerful a man and that indispensable for the UPA government.
