Ingredients
- 5 Potatoes
- 1 big
onion
- Green
chilies (according to taste)
- Crushed
ginger
- Coriander
leaf
- Lemon
juice (1 teaspoon)
- Salt
(according to taste)
- Turmeric
powder (1 big spoon)
- Mustard
oil
- Besan
(Gram flour)
Method:
Boil and mash the boiled potato. Mix finely
crushed onion, ginger, green chilly (cut
into small pieces), turmeric powder, lemon
juice, salt and coriander leaf with the
mashed potato.
Make round balls of the mixture prepared
above. Make a thick paste of besan with
water. Now pour the potato balls in the
besan paste and finely wrap it with thick
layer of besan. Heat oil in a pan and fry
the potato balls till the besan paste
becomes hard.
Serve it hot with coriander chatni or tomato
sauce.
