Chana Madra

Ingredients:

• 250 gm ghee or oil
• 250 gm kabuli chana - boiled
• 4 cardamoms
• 5 cloves
• 1/3 tsp black cardamom-powder
• 1/3 tsp clove-powder
• 1/2 tsp turmeric
• 3/4 tsp cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 3 tsp raisins
• 500 gm yogurt – whipped

Method:

Heat the ghee in a pan. Add cardamoms, cloves, black cardamom powder, clove powder, turmeric, cumin powder and kabuli chana, and mix well. Fry for 10 minutes.

Then add salt, raisins and yogurt and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
