Mango Rice

Ingredients:
• Cooked
rice (2 cups)
• Raw mango (small sized peeled and grated)
• Urad dal 1 tsp
• Chana dal 1 tsp
• Mustard seeds 1 tsp
• Cashews (5 to 10 broken)
• Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• Haldi (Turmeric)
• Ghee 2 tbsps.
Method:
In a pan put ghee. Add mustard seeds chana dal,
urad dal, cashews and curry leaves as
seasonings. Add grated mango, haldi. Toss this
mixture for a few seconds, add cooked rice, and
salt to taste. Mix it well with seasonings and
mango.
Serve hot with mango or lemon pickle. Enjoy. Previous Page |
