Methi Muthia

Ingredients

• ½ lb cleaned and chopped fresh methi leaves
• ½ cup suji or semolina
• ½ cup flour
• ½ cup besan (gram flour) or chick pea flour
• 2 tsp red chili powder
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp ajwain
• Salt to taste
• ½ cup yoghurt
• 2 bread slices
• Oil for deep frying
• For garnish

Method:

First dry roast methi leaves in a pan.

Then dry roast mixture of semolina, flour, and besan in another pan.

Transfer this mixture in a bowl. Add methi leaves, red chili powder, salt, yogurt, and mix.

Add bread pieces and make medium consistency dough.

Shape the dough in muthia shape and deep fry.

Serve with chutney.
