Nations around the world, and for that matter, entire humanity is going through the dreadful impact of COVID-19 syndrome. Challenges thrown by Corona are many and resources are limited. Panic amongst human beings under the sun is growing although the governments are taking adequate measures to contain this pandemic disease.

The overall global situation looks to be grave and grim, if not beyond control. As law-abiding citizens, our first and foremost duty is to stop panicking about everything happening in the world about COVID-19. Staying safe and being aware of the surroundings is the best thing to do.

Moreover, we need to be vigilant about rumors. They are intentionally spread by anti-national elements to create confusion amongst peace-loving people and thus destabilize the system. Unless there are authentic orders and directives issued by the respective governments related to COVID-19, it is not imperative and advisable to waste time on WhatsApp fake forwards and highly cooked-up shares on Facebook and other social media. The need of the hour is to co-operate and not to counteract!

Sharing hope and hope alone on social media is the need of the hour. That’s what the world needs right now. The world history has witnessed many such ups and downs and will kickback this ‘Notorious Devil’, too, if we stay optimistic in our outlook and attitude.

Optimists experience less distress than pessimists when dealing with difficulties in their lives. They suffer much less anxiety and depression. Again, hope reduces feelings of helplessness, boosts happiness, reduces stress, and improves the quality of life. Hopeful people can face even the most negative times with a positive attitude. Let hope thrive and prevail everywhere under the sun; the best weapon to counter COVID-19 at the moment.
