Patna: Police in Patna used force to keep the situation under control as a number of students from various colleges in the state capital representing over half a dozen student unions blocked roads in Kankarbagh and squatted on the railroad tracks to protest against the assault on Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students last Sunday by over three dozen youths wielding lathis, hockey sticks and other improvised weapons.
