Patna: Jan Adhikar Morcha (JAP) leader and Madhepura MP Pappu Yadav in Patna on Friday minced no words in expressing his dislike for his one-time mentor Lalu Prasad Yadav saying the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief was like the 'Bhasmasur' who destroyed everything that he touched.

"This is the man who betrayed Devi Lal and Chowdhary Charan Singh; how can you expect him to continue to support Chief Minister Nitish Kumar?" the former RJD leader asked in view of the recent endorsement by the RJD chief of Nitish Kumar for the post of the Prime Minister of India.

Calling both Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav 'frauds', the former inmate of the maximum security Tihar Jail said that the two, for their lust of power, continued to devise new ways to defraud people to remain in power forever.

"Nitish Kumar, like Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, are political gamblers. One must not forget that it was Nitish Kumar who helped the BJP expand Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activities in Bihar. It was Nitish Kumar who set up RSS camp in Nalanda, his home district, and now he is talking about obliterating the Sangh from the political face of India," he said.

Continuing his assault on the Chief Minister, Yadav said that instead of talking about getting rid of RSS and the Sangh Parivar, Nitish Kumar should be talking about freeing India a caste-less and corruption-less society. He also excoriated Kumar for putting the 'Pasi' community out of work after he unilaterally imposed ban on 'toddy' along with all other alcoholic drinks.

"He should have made arrangement for their livelihood before imposing prohibition in Bihar. Now hundreds of thousands of Pasis are now out of work with no way to feed their families," Yadav said.
