Patna: Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital in Patna on Sunday opened its cardiovascular wing on Sunday to treat patients with heart diseases using modern techniques at an affordable cost.
"This hospital was established ten years ago and in such a short span, it has saved lives of thousands of newly-born babies. Now we are pleased to announce that the hospital has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to treat patients with heart ailments at a very affordable cost," said Mahavir Temple committee secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashok Kumar said that the hospital would perform both invasive and non-invasive surgery to the patients while Dr. B. K. Bahal of New Delhi emphasized the importance of timely action in case of a pain in the heart to save the patient's life.
