Patna: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday took shots at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar calling him an actor 'par excellence' for fooling people of Bihar 'over and over again' by changing his tune frequently to fulfill his personal ambitions.
"Nitish Kumar is truly a great actor. He can put up an act as and when needed to advance his personal dreams. For 17 long years, he was part of the NDA and supported the Sangh Parivar but now he is talking about making India 'Sangh-free'. We all should complement him for being such a great actor," the LJP chief said.
In another example of the Janata Dal – U leader making about turn from his former philosophy, Paswan said that it was Kumar who set up liquor shops at each and every street corner of Bihar and helped Bihar become a state full of alcoholics.
"Now he thinks alcohol is bad for everyone. He owes an explanation to the people of Bihar why he did not think alcohol was bad for everyone earlier and why he set up liquor shops at each nook and corner of Bihar," he said.
The Union Minister once again dismissed repots of Nitish Kumar nurturing the aspirations of becoming the Prime Minister of India saying he would rather not comment on useless rumors that has zero effect on today's politics.
"Bihar voters gave him the mandate to make Bihar crime-free and turn around the state into a developed state. However, it is clear that he does not care about these issues anymore because instead of making Bihar crime-free, he is talking about making India 'Sangh-free'. It is evident what his priorities are," Paswan said.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
