Governor Administers Oath of Office to Two New Members Lokayukta

Patna: Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday at Raj Bhawan in Patna administered the oath of office to Retired Justice Mihir Kumar Jha and retired IAS officer Kirti Chandra Saha as the members of the Lokayukta, an independent body designed to keep an independent eye on the government.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, Bihar Legislative Council Chairperson Awadhesh Narain Singh, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and the leader of the opposition in Bihar Legislative Council Sushil Kumar Modi, Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav and many others were present on the occasion.
