RJD Leader Denies Having Ever Sold Property to Lalu

Patna: Fighting back allegations of 'donating' his properties to his boss and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, senior party leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui said that Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi was a master in the art of propaganda that would put even Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda minister, to shame.

Speaking at a press conference in Patna on Monday, Siddiqui said that if Modi could prove that he gave his properties to Lalu Prasad Yadav, he would take retirement from politics.

"However, if proven to be wrong, Modi must take voluntary retirement from politics," Siddiqui said.

As reported previously, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi had exposed a number of RJD leaders, supporters, and even employees on Lalu's payroll who allegedly bought lands in prime locations and then went on to 'donate' the property to Yadav or one of his family members for the sheer 'love for the RJD family'.

Denying the allegations vehemently, Siddiqui said that he had never sold any property of his to the RJD chief and if Sushil Kumar Modi had evidences that proved otherwise then he should make it public.

Admitting he obtained a property through the legislator cooperative scheme, the RJD leader said that only half of the plot had been developed and the remaining half borders properties owned by Lalu Prasad Yadav.

"Sushil Modi has only partial knowledge about his plot and the rest he made it up. He is desperate to distract from the Srijan scam and is only trying to elevate his status in the BJP," he said adding the Deputy Chief Minister was like Goebbels who believed if you repeated the lies over and over again, it will become true.
