Patna: On his way to make his appearance in a Ranchi court in connection with his involvement in the decades old fodder scam, a nonchalant Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in Patna on Sunday offered his analysis on the upcoming Gujarat election saying the fact that the Janata Dal – U is not going with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Narendra Modi's state was indicative of the fact that all was not well within the NDA.

"Now that Nitish Kumar is contesting Gujarat elections on his own, I am sure he will also go solo in Bihar elections," the RJD chief said talking to reporters as he sat in his car to go to Patna Airport on way to Ranchi.

Yadav, in view of the illicit hooch death in Rohtas two days ago, also took shot at prohibition in Bihar saying the state was dry in name only while government officials were busy making home deliveries to buyers who were willing to pay the premium price for each bottles.

"Police officers are making a lot of money making home deliveries to customers across the state as liquors continue to pour in the state by the truck load," he said.

Yadav also sent out feelers to the Congress Party that he was ready and available to campaign for the party provided he was asked by the Congress high command.

Accusing the NDA of destroying the nation's economy by imposing GST and demonetization, the RJD chief also blamed the BJP for children's death in a Gujarat hospital in the lack of oxygen tanks.
