Patna: Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) activists in Patna on Monday burnt the effigy of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Raj Thackeray whose supporters, like many times in the past, beat up people from Bihar and other north Indian states a few days ago.
Demanding arrest of Thackeray and his goons who have terrorized Biharis and other north Indian in Mumbai for over 15 years, the protestors urged the Election Commission to de-recognize MNS and declare it as a domestic terrorist outfit.
Supporters of Pappu Yadav, in the presence of other party workers, burnt the effigy of Thackeray at the Kargil Chowk and threatened to fill Mumbai with people from Bihar to take on MNS thugs in an attempt to protect Bihari workers from their criminal activities.
As reported, hiding behind the excuse of removing illegal encroachment from the sidewalks, MNS workers in Mumbai last Saturday beat up hawkers from Bihar and destroyed their belongings. This led to an all-out battle between the two groups resulting in the injuries of many workers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and at least one MNS worker.
