Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, talking to reporters in Patna on Monday, dubbed Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) heir-apparent Tejaswi Yadav saying his former deputy was 'merely a child' who had yet to learn quite a bit about politics before getting ready for the prime time.
"He is just a child who gets loud and emotional at times. The problem is, he can never come out of the shadow of his father who has instilled these traits in him," Kumar said adding Lalu Prasad Yadav was proving to be the millstone around the neck of his son who aspires to become a politician.
Responding to Lalu Prasad Yadav's comment that his son would spell doom for the political career of Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister said that it was due to him the RJD managed to get 80 seats in the last Assembly polls in Bihar.
"Come next election, the RJD would be limited to no more than its previous 22 seats," he said.
Yadav, who is still trying to come to terms about the sudden loss of power in the state leading to the unemployment of his two sons, in his own inimitable style, fired back at Kumar saying 'Tejaswi was not a child but he was Nitish Kumar's uncle (तेजस्वी बच्चा नहीं है, बल्कि नितीश का चच्चा है) who would teach the Janata Dal – U leader a lesson in the next Assembly elections.
It may be recalled that nearly the entire Lalu clan is under CBI or Enforcement Directorate (ED) probes in a host of corruption cases.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
