Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav defended his son Tej Pratap Yadav's statement that if something bad happened to him then his son would 'skin' Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying any son would get angry if he felt threat on his father's life.

"Tej Pratap Yadav is afraid something will happen to me since the Center has decided to withdraw Z+ security earlier provided to me. This is normal for any son and anyone’s blood would boil if his father gets attacked," Yadav who is said to be personally grooming his elder son after he, unlike his younger son and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, failed to make his mark as a promising politician.

With the withdrawal of Z+ security by the NSG, Yadav will still get Z security and will be surrounded by an armed commando team of the Central Reserve Police Force.

"If anything happens to me then Modi and Nitish will be responsible for that. Much smaller leaders than me are being given the Z+ security but they think I don't deserve that level of security," he said.

Accusing the NDA government at the Center of conspiring to 'silent' him, Lalu Prasad Yadav, a convict in the multi-crore rupees fodder scam, said that he was not afraid of the BJP and the people of Bihar were going to protect him against those who wish harm on him.

"Lalu Prasad Yadav is not afraid of anyone. Lalu is still very young and has a lot of force left in him. My children worry about me but I am not afraid of anything because the people of Bihar are with me," Yadav, who often addresses himself in third person, said.

Downplaying his concerns about the withdrawal of Z+ security cover to him, the RJD chief mocked the Prime Minister saying he wanted to know if Modi was planning to use additional forces to launch an attack on Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Bihar Urban Development Minister Suresh Sharma asked Lalu Prasad Yadav to put his elder son in a mental hospital saying the young man was unstable and would require professional help in a mental asylum.

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, returning favor to the RJD chief who had earlier said that Modi should perform his son's wedding without any fear from his son Tej Pratap Yadav, said that Lalu Prasad shouldn't be scared of anyone as people were more scared of him in Bihar than anyone else.

"Who is Laluji scared of? Why would he even need the security when the entire Bihar is afraid of him and his sons?" he asked.
