Patna: Critically-acclaimed Bollywood actor and stage artist Manoj Bajpai, at a function at Hotel Maurya in Patna on Thursday released the video of television film 'Neele Rang ki Lal Kahani' produced by the Bhitiharwa Ashram Jeevan Kaushal Trust.
The function was presided over by trust President Shailendra Pratap Singh.
Arun Pahwa, the Director of the film, honored all the stars of the movie with a commemorative shawl following the screening of the film in the Kautilya Hall.
"Our goal is to spread awareness about Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba, and his followers who took part in the Champaran Movement and other such agitations during the Indian freedom movement struggle against the British Raj," Trust's Secretary Dr. Gyandeo Mani Tripathi said.
The film will be shown at all places that is related with Gandhi including Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Delhi, Trust's President Shailendra Pratap Singh said.
Bajpai, the star and anti-hero of dozens of Hindi and regional films including blockbusters like Shool and Satya, and also a member of the Trust, speaking on the occasion, recalled his early days in Bihar and how he was inspired to act in films after watching many of his idols on the silver screen.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
