Patna: CBSE Class X Students in Patna on Saturday protested outside the regional office of the Central Board of Secondary Eduction (CBSE) to demand a re-do of the math exam like Delhi and Haryana saying the question paper for math were leaked on WhatsApp a day before the test was scheduled to be held.

Despite the CBSE office being close on account of Saturday, students carrying hand-made placards and black bands covering their mouths as a sign of protest, said it was not fair for the students of Bihar who were also the victims of question paper leak on instant messaging service a day before the exam.

Nearly all the protestors were the students of Ankur Public School.

"Our test center was at Notre Dame Academy. When we received the question paper, we found it contained the exact same questions that went viral on WhatsApp a day before the test. Under these circumstances, we are asking for the cancellation of the test and re-scheduling of the math exam," the protestors said.

The protestors said they also had the support of many teachers and school principles who agreed with the students about canceling the previously-held exam and re-scheduling of math exam.
